“These works explore the physiology of happiness—how it can be accessed, shaped, and invited in.

After moving through periods of sadness, I became aware of how closely my emotional state is influenced by what I take in and experience, while also recognizing that happiness itself remains an innate, renewable source within us.

This series moves through that contrast, between heaviness and light—using color and gesture as entry points. Drawing on research in color psychology, the palette is intentionally vibrant, activating emotional states associated with joy, warmth, and balance.”—Jenny Perez
